2 Kaulig Xfinity Teams Fined for Lug Nut Infractions

Two Kaulig Racing machines of AJ Allmendinger and Landon Cassill were penalized after a loose lug nut was found on each of the team’s Chevrolets during post-race inspection at Richmond Raceway on Saturday, April 2.

Crew chiefs Jason Trinchere and Bruce Schlicker of the Nos. 16 and 10, respectively have been fined $5,000 each for the infraction.

Allmendinger finished fourth at the 0.75-mile short track. Cassill ended his day 15th.

Allmendinger currently leads the regular season standings and is locked into the playoffs after his win at Circuit of the Americas while Cassill resides in 16th, 14 points below the cutoff spot.

No points deductions were given to either team.
