The NASCAR Cup Series heads back to the East Coast following its first road course race of the season at Circuit of the Americas. Drivers will now hit three straight short tracks, with Richmond Raceway being the first up.
Thirty-seven cars are set to take to the Action Track, locking each driver’s spot, barring any changes.
Garrett Smithley is back in the No. 15 Ford for Rick Ware Racing for the first time since Phoenix Raceway. Joey Hand wheeled the car last week at COTA.
Greg Biffle returns to the track in his fourth start of the season with NY Racing Team in the No. 44 Chevrolet. Biffle competed at Atlanta Motor Speedway two weeks ago, earning a top-20 finish.
After Josh Bilicki took the reins of Spire Motorsports’s No. 77 Chevrolet, Landon Cassill hops back in the seat for his third appearance of 2022.
