Brad Perez Attempting Truck Debut With RBR

Brad Perez will attempt make his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start this week at Circuit of the Americas with Reaume Brothers Racing, RBR announced March 21.

Perez will drive the No. 43, which has been piloted by Thad Moffitt in each Truck race so far in 2022.

Perez made one ARCA Menards Series start in 2021, finishing 24th at Watkins Glen International.

“I’m very grateful to have this opportunity to make my first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start,” Perez said in a team release. “I’ve been a fan of this series for decades and have been lucky enough to work with several teams in recent years, but to have the chance to race a NASCAR Camping World Series truck is a dream come true.

“I cannot be more thankful for Josh Reaume and everyone at Reaume Brothers Racing for the opportunity, along with Greentech Energy, Kimberly Kirven, Victory SIM, The Mohawk Foundation and Apex Coffee for making this happen. I’m just a small piece in this puzzle but I will do my best to make everyone proud.” 

The Hollywood, Fla., native spent time driving in the SCCA and in legends cars. He has also worked as a tire specialist for multiple NASCAR teams over the past couple of seasons.

Perez will attempt his Truck debut at COTA on Saturday, March 26 at 1 p.m. ET, with race coverage on FOX Sports 1.
