Chase Janes will attempt to make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Martinsville Speedway, Reaume Brothers Racing announced March 10.

The team did not specify which number Janes will be piloting in his debut. Reaume has fielded the Nos. 33 and 43 this year.

Janes is still actively searching for sponsorship for his debut at the 0.526-mile short track in Martinsville, Va.

Janes won six times in the late model division at Hickory Motor Speedway. This will be his first foray into the NASCAR competition.

“After a successful 2020 and 2021, I’m very blessed for the opportunity that Josh Reaume, Frank Bickford and everyone with the team has given me,” Janes said in a team release. “Everything happens for a reason, and I’m excited to roll into Martinsville in April.”

“I thoroughly enjoy having drivers make their national series debut with our team,” team owner Reaume added. “Chase has an extensive short track background, and I am excited to see that success translate to Martinsville.”

After the first two races this season, the No. 33 is 22nd in the owners’ points standings and the No. 43 is in 28th.

Janes’ debut will be on Thursday, April 7, with the United Rentals 200 scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET, with TV coverage provided by FOX Sports 1.
