Stock Car Scoop: Expectations for NASCAR’s Auto Club Return

For the first time in nearly two full years, NASCAR visits Auto Club Speedway. The California venue hasn’t hosted a stock car event since the spring of 2020, where Alex Bowman dominated en route to a victory, and the Cup Series heads back with the Next Gen cars set to hit the track on Sunday (Feb. 27).

What are the pre-race expectations for Auto Club? Who are some contenders to keep an eye on for Sunday, including some potential first-time winners? Hosts Bryan Nolen and Adam Cheek discuss these topics and more ahead of the weekend’s races.

I expect bubba to win. After listening to him all week after finishing 2nd at Daytona, he expects to win this week and so since he was so convincing, I expect him to him.

Bill B

He’s a legend in his own mind.

DoninAjax

He’s not the only one in the current crop of drivers, not racers.

Echo

That’s for sure. Way to many.
