Danny Bohn Joins Young’s for Daytona

Danny Bohn will compete in the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway for Young’s Motorsports, Young’s announced Jan. 25.

Bohn is entered in the No. 20 and will be sponsored by North American Motor Car.

“I am very excited about joining Young’s Motorsports for Daytona,” Bohn said in a team release. “Time and time again Young’s Motorsports have shown that they build very fast Chevrolet Silverados for the superspeedway races and I am excited to be able to drive one of them next month at Daytona.”

Bohn’s schedule with Young’s is currently for just one race, though there is interest in expanding his jaunt with the team for 2022.

“I am so happy to have our Daytona lineup finalized,” team principal Tyler Young added. “All three of our drivers are extremely excited and very experienced when it comes to superspeedway racing. Their knowledge, passion, focus and motivation will be a huge benefit for our organization.”

Bohn joins full-time driver Spencer Boyd and Jesse Little in the Young’s lineup at Daytona.

In 2021, Bohn drove most of the Truck schedule for On Point Motorsports, scoring two top 10s in 20 starts. He boasts four top 10s in 33 series starts since 2019.
