CJ McLaughlin Running Partial Xfinity Schedule for RSS Racing

CJ McLaughlin is returning to RSS Racing for several races in the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, he announced Jan. 17.

SciAps will once again sponsor McLaughlin.

The stint is for 14 races, according to McLaughlin’s Facebook page. SciAps’ website currently lists 13 events: both events at Daytona International Speedway in February and August, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in March and October, Talladega Superspeedway in April and October, Texas Motor Speedway in May and September, New Hampshire Motor Speedway in July, Michigan International Speedway in August, Bristol Motor Speedway in September, Homestead-Miami Speedway in October and Martinsville Speedway in October.

“I am super thankful for SciAps,” McLaughlin said in a release. “They have given me the opportunity and support to grow in my racing career and being back with the RSS Racing team feels like coming back home. We are all looking forward to the success we will achieve on track together. From my debut at NH to this upcoming season, SciAps and RSS have been with me every step of the way.”

McLaughlin ran six races in 2021 for multiple teams, including four for Mike Harmon Racing. He earned a best finish of 20th at Texas in 2020.

Parker Retzlaff will also join RSS Racing in at least 10 events.
