Conner Jones will drive a limited schedule for Venturini Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series in 2022, Venturini announced Jan. 5
Jones will make his main-series ARCA debut with the team at Iowa Speedway, followed by a race at Salem Speedway.
He’ll also drive for the team in the ARCA Menards Series East at Dover Motor Speedway.
“It’s exciting to take the next step in ARCA with a team like Venturini Motorsports,” Jones said in a team release. “They’ve been one of the most dominant teams in ARCA for a long time. It gives me added confidence knowing I’m surrounded by a lot of successful people and racing really good equipment. I’m looking at this as an opportunity to learn as much as I can for the future. I’ll be really happy if I can go out and run top five, top 10 each week.”
Jones’ car number was not announced for his races.
Jones made two ARCA starts in 2021, with a best finish of 10th at Bristol Motor Speedway.
He also scored a best finish of fourth in ARCA East at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
