Blaine Perkins Running Full-Time Truck Schedule for CR7

Blaine Perkins will compete full time for CR7 Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2022, CR7 announced Dec. 23.

The schedule marks CR7’s first full-time jaunt in the series. In 2021, it fielded the No. 9 truck in all but two events, with Codie Rohrbaugh, Grant Enfinger and Colby Howard driving.

“I’m humbled by the opportunity and thankful for everyone who’s a part of it,” Perkins tweeted.

2022 will be Perkins’ first full-time season in a NASCAR national series, and the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway will mark his first Truck attempt.

In 2021, he ran eight Xfinity Series races for Our Motorsports in its No. 23, with a best finish of 13th at Talladega Superspeedway.

In 20 starts in 2021, CR7’s No. 9 earned a top five and four top 10s, its best finish a fourth-place run at Circuit of the Americas with Enfinger.
