Blaine Perkins will compete full time for CR7 Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2022, CR7 announced Dec. 23.
The schedule marks CR7’s first full-time jaunt in the series. In 2021, it fielded the No. 9 truck in all but two events, with Codie Rohrbaugh, Grant Enfinger and Colby Howard driving.
“I’m humbled by the opportunity and thankful for everyone who’s a part of it,” Perkins tweeted.
2022 will be Perkins’ first full-time season in a NASCAR national series, and the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway will mark his first Truck attempt.
