Kyle Kirkwood is joining AJ Foyt Racing next season in the NTT IndyCar Series, the team announced Nov. 10.
Kirkwood will pilot the No. 14 Chevrolet vacated by Sebastian Bourdais. Bourdais is switching to IMSA full time next year for Chip Ganassi Racing.
The Florida native won the 2021 Indy Lights championship with Andretti Autosport after taking home 10 victories in 20 races.
He also won the Indy Pro 2000 championship in 2019 and the USF2000 in 2018, becoming the first driver to win titles in all three Road to Indy divisions.
The 2022 IndyCar season is scheduled to kick off on Feb. 27 on the Streets of St. Petersburg.
