The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to racing after about a month off, and Austin Hill will roll off from the pole at Watkins Glen International.
The No. 16 Hattori Racing Enterprises pilot won his first race of the season at Knoxville Raceway July 9.
Front Row Motorsports’ Todd Gilliland will begin in second next to Hill, while Kyle Busch Motorsports driver Chandler Smith lines up third. ThorSport Racing’s Matt Crafton and Ben Rhodes round out the top five positions.
John Hunter Nemechek, who has five wins so far this season, starts sixth and Derek Kraus is seventh. The No. 21 GMS Racing driver, Zane Smith, commences in eighth, Carson Hocevar is ninth and Tyler Ankrum finishes up the top 10 in the lineup.
Chad Chastain will make his debut this weekend in the No. 45 Niece Motorsports truck.
Driver and car owner’s finishing position (weighted 25% each), fastest lap from Knoxville (15%) and rank in owner points (35%) were calculated and added to set the lineup.
The United Rentals 176 can be viewed on Aug. 7 at 12:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1. Motor Racing Network radio will also air the event.
