Daniel Dye Wins 1st ARCA Pole at Berlin

In his third ARCA competition with GMS Racing, Daniel Dye won the pole for the Zinsser SmartCoat 200 at Berlin Raceway.

Dye finished fifth in the most recent ARCA Menards Series race at Elko Speedway, his first main ARCA Series race with the organization.

Ty Gibbs will start second after posting the fastest time in the practice session earlier today.

Points leader Corey Heim told Frontstretch that he got a good feel for the track in practice, believes he has good long run speed, and will start third.

The top Ford qualifying driver was Taylor Gray in fourth place.

Fellow Venturini Motorsports driver Jesse Love rounds out the top five. Love nabbed his main ARCA series career-best finish of second place at Elko.

The Zinsser SmartCoat 200 will take place tonight (Saturday, July 17) at 8 p.m. ET with TV coverage provided by MAVTV and TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold.
