Corey Heim Making Truck Debut at Darlington

Corey Heim will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut for Kyle Busch Motorsports at Darlington Raceway on May 7, Kickin’ the Tires reports.

The 18-year-old from Marietta, Ga., will pilot the No. 51 JBL Toyota Tundra for KBM during Darlington’s annual throwback weekend.

KBM has not yet made an official announcement regarding Heim’s ride.

Heim has two wins in 18 ARCA Menards Series starts, with the first coming coming last October at Kansas Speedway. He opened the 2021 season with a win at Daytona International Speedway for Venturini Motorsports and then followed it up with another top five at Phoenix Raceway. He currently sits above another rising star in Ty Gibbs for the series points lead.

In 23 starts between all three ARCA Menards Series divisions, Heim has 14 top fives and 22 top 10s.

KBM has won the last four races in the Truck Series, with John Hunter Nemechek winning two and Cup Series champions Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. accounting for the other two.
