SRX Adds 5 to Driver Lineup

Five drivers are joining the Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) field this summer in one race each.

Doug Coby, Brian Brown, Kody Swanson, Bobby Santos III and the 2021 Slinger Nationals champion will compete as what SRX calls “Amateur All Stars.”

Coby, a six-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion, will race at Stafford Motor Speedway. He has 12 victories at the Connecticut track.

Brown is a Sprint car driver who has 49 410 wins and 16 360 wins at Knoxville Raceway, where he’ll compete in the SRX series.

Swanson, a five-time USAC Silver Crown champion, will drive at Eldora Speedway.

Santos won the 2010 NWMT championship and has 19 career wins in the series. He’ll join SRX at Lucas Oil Raceway, where he has 10 USAC Silver Crown victories.

The Slinger Nationals is set to run on July 6, four days before the SRX series take to the track.
