John Hunter Nemechek to Tackle Atlanta Truck Race From Pole

John Hunter Nemechek hopes to earn his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway as he rolls off from the pole Saturday, March 20.

Nemechek, who earned his first win at the Georgia track in 2016, is looking to win his second consecutive Truck event in 2021.

He’ll have to beat his boss and teammate Kyle Busch who joins him on the front row. Matt Crafton will wheel the No. 88 ThorSport Racing truck from third, Stewart Friesen is fourth and Ben Rhodes rounds out the top five.

Austin Hill lines up sixth, Zane Smith is seventh and Sheldon Creed starts eighth. Todd Gilliland and Brett Moffitt complete the top 10 in the lineup.

A combination of team owner rankings (35%), driver’s and car owner’s finishing position (25% each) and fastest lap from previous race (15%) was used to set the lineup.

The Fr8 Auctions 200 will air on March 20 at 2:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1 and MRN radio
