Ross Chastain will pilot the No. 44 truck for Niece Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the team announced March 10.
Chastain previously drove full time for Niece in 2019, earning three wins, 10 top fives and 19 top 10s. He also ended the season second in the points standings.
“Racing is what I love to do, so anytime I can come race in the Truck Series, I’m excited to do it,” Chastain said in a team release. “A huge thank you to Chip and everyone at Ganassi for allowing me to come race with Niece Motorsports. I enjoy working with the group at Niece Motorsports, they always have fast Chevrolets ready to go. I’m looking forward to contending for a win, we had such a strong truck in this race last year.”
CircleBDiecast.com will be aboard the No. 44 Chevrolet.
Chastain currently competes full time in the Cup Series, driving the No. 42 Chevrolet for Chip Ganassi Racing. He earned one top 10 so far- a seventh place in the Daytona 500.
The Fr8 Auctions 200 will air on Saturday, March 20 at 2:30 p.m. ET on FS1 and MRN radio.
