Brad Keselowski will start on the pole in Sunday’s (March 14) NASCAR Cup Series race at Phoenix Raceway.
He was awarded the position after finishing second to Kyle Larson last week at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Larson will join Keselowski on the front row, while Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Denny Hamlin, Christopher Bell and Martin Truex Jr. round out the top five.
Larson’s Hendrick Motorsports cohort Chase Elliott begins sixth and Kyle Busch starts seventh. Keselowski’s fellow Team Penske pilots Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano begin eighth and ninth, while William Byron completes the top 10 in the lineup.
A performance-metrics formula weighing 25% driver’s finishing position, 25% car owner’s finishing position, 15% fastest lap from previous race and 35% team owner points rankings was used to create the lineup.
Cup Series Lineup for Phoenix
The Instacart 500 will air on March 14 at 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX and MRN radio.
