Then on Saturday, both the Cup and Truck series will run in four 15-lap qualifying heat races to set the field for its respective events.
Cup drivers will take to the track starting at 6 p.m. ET, with the next three qualifying heats 15 minutes in succession.
Trucks will begin their heat races at 4:30 p.m., 4:45 p.m., 5 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. ET.
The release does not specify how the lineups for the heat races will be set.
