Daniel Suarez has another new sponsor for the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season.
Camping World will hop aboard the No. 99 car of Trackhouse Racing for multiple events, including Sunday’s (Feb. 28) race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Camping World CEO and Chairman Marcus Lemonis has been a long-time supporter in NASCAR, as his company currently serves as the title sponsor of the Camping World Truck Series.
“This has been a pretty amazing start to our young organization,” team owner Justin Marks said in a release.
“It is an honor to have someone with the stature of Marcus [Lemonis] believe in what we are doing and want to sponsor our team. We are building the foundation that will keep Trackhouse strong on the track and in the community for years to come.”
The 2016 Xfinity Series champion has eight top fives and 32 top 10s throughout his Cup career. His best finish so far this year was a 16th at the Daytona International Speedway road course.
“I met Marcus a few years ago when he sponsored me in the No. 19 car and it is amazing that we reunite with the Trackhouse team,” Suarez said. “I consider Marcus a friend, but also consider him one of the great business minds in the world. We will definitely help tell the story of Camping World and its products and services and he will help tell the story of Trackhouse and our efforts on and off the track. This is exciting for me.”
The remaining races in which Camping World will be a sponsor is yet to be announced. It joins CommScope, iFLY, K1Speed, PUMPiTUP, Coca-Cola and Chevrolet as sponsors.
