Ben Rhodes on Truck Pole at Daytona Road Course

Ben Rhodes will wheel his No. 99 ThorSport Racing Toyota from the pole in Friday’s (Feb. 19) NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at the Daytona International Speedway road course.

Rhodes claimed the position after winning last week’s season opener on the Daytona oval.

Niece Motorsports teammates Ryan Truex and Carson Hocevar will start second and third, respectively. Kyle Busch Motorsports’ John Hunter Nemechek and GMS Racing’s Sheldon Creed round out the top five in the lineup.

Cory Roper will pilot the No. 04 truck of Roper Racing Team from the sixth position, while Codie Rohrbaugh lines up seventh. Chandler Smith, Matt Crafton and Spencer Boyd complete the top 10 starters.

Four weighted categories were used to create the lineup: 25% driver’s finishing position from Daytona, 25% owner’s finishing position, 35% rank in 2021 owner’s points and 15% fastest lap from Daytona.
