Daniel Suarez will be sponsored by CommScope for multiple races in the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season, Trackhouse Racing Team announced Feb. 2.
CommScope will adorn the hood of Suarez’s No. 99 starting at Phoenix Raceway in March.
Other races for the partnership have not yet been announced.
“CommScope’s support over the years has been vital to my career, and I am glad we have found a new home with Trackhouse Racing,” Suarez said in a team release. “Justin [Marks, team owner] is building something special, and I think that will show on and off the track this season. Heck, the CommScope paint scheme is already one of the best I have ever seen.”
CommScope’s prior sponsorship of Suarez included multiple races in 2020 while he drove Gaunt Brothers Racing’s No. 96 — nine events in all as the primary sponsor.
In 2020, Suarez finished 31st in points with a best finish of 18th twice, at Bristol Motor Speedway and Kansas Speedway.
2021 marks Trackhouse’s debut in the Cup Series.
