Verizon will sponsor Austin Cindric‘s bid for the Daytona 500, he announced on Twitter Jan. 26.
The company will adorn Cindric’s No. 33 in what would be his NASCAR Cup Series debut should he qualify for the Great American Race.
“To have such a recognizable brand like Verizon on my car is way cool for me,” Cindric tweeted. “I grew up cheering for Verizon Team Penske racecars, and now I get to drive one.”
Really excited to share that @Verizon will be on both of my Ford Mustangs @DAYTONA!!

The No. 33 will be an unchartered teammate to Team Penske full-timers Brad Keselowski, Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano.
Cindric will run a part-time Cup schedule in 2021 in preparation for a full-time run in 2022 in Wood Brothers Racing’s No. 21. He’ll also return to defend his Xfinity Series championship in Penske’s No. 22.
