Timothy Peters Returning to Truck Series With Rackley WAR

Timothy Peters is back full time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving for the newly formed Rackley WAR team, it announced Jan. 25.

Peters will drive the No. 25 for the organization, which is co-owned by Rackley Roofing president Curtis Sutton and former series driver Willie Allen.

Chad Kendrick will be the team’s crew chief.

“The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has always been special, and to have the opportunity to return to full time
competition is a blessing,” Peters said in a team release “I am very grateful to Willie Allen and Curtis Sutton for the opportunity to represent Rackley Roofing and W.A.R. Shocks. Both gentlemen are top-notch people with a singular determination to win on and off the track.”

2021 will mark Peters’ return to full-time Truck Series racing, something he last accomplished in 2016. Since then, he has made 17 starts over the past four seasons, with one win, three top fives and 11 top 10s.

Overall, he’s scored 11 wins in 248 starts since 2005.

Rackley WAR will race in 2021 with a technical partnership via GMS Racing.

Rackley Roofing has previously been a sponsor for Clay Greenfield‘s No. 68, which will enter the season-opening race at Daytona.
