Stefan Parsons is back with BJ McLeod Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2021, the team announced Jan. 11.
Parsons will drive a part-time season in the team’s No. 99.
Though a specific schedule has not been announced, Parsons’ season will begin with the third race of 2021 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Sokal Media Group and Springrates Automotive Suspension will support the effort.
“I’m so excited to return to BJMM in 2021,” Parsons said in a team release. “We have some great partners onboard, including Mark Sokal and Sean Taylor who came on with us in the 2020 season. We’re really stepping up our program at BJMM and I can’t wait to show the results on the track. Looking to make my third year in the Xfinity Series the best one yet.”
Added team owner BJ McLeod, “It’s really great to have Stefan driving for us again this year. Stefan has been competing for BJ McLeod Motorsports for the past three years and he is a true asset to our team. Working with him on and off the track is something I’m looking forward to.”
Parsons joins BJMM full-timers Matt Mills and Jesse Little, alongside fellow part-timer Ryan Ellis in the No. 99.
In 2020, his second season in Xfinity, Parsons started nine races, with a best finish of 18th at Texas Motor Speedway.
