Superstar Racing Experience series will include a dirt race for its inaugural season.
Per a Nov. 13 announcement, SRX will make a stop at Eldora Speedway in 2021. The Ohio track, which is owner by SRX co-founder Tony Stewart, will host some of racing’s most accomplished drivers for a unique dirt track challenge.
While the official 2021 SRX schedule has yet to be released, the track will serve as one of the six projected venues for the series.

So far, eight drivers, including Mark Webber, Tony Kanaan, Bill Elliott and Stewart himself are slated to compete with at least four more to be announced. Of the eight, only Stewart has substantial racing experience on a dirt surface.
Steeped in racing tradition, Eldora has served as a longstanding venue for some of dirt racing’s most prestigious events, including the Kings Royal for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and the Dirt Late Model Dream.
The half-mile clay oval also previously hosted the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series for the Eldora Dirt Derby from 2013-2019 before it was scratched from the 2020 schedule due to restrictions related to COVID-19. Its status for the 2021 schedule has not yet been announced.
