After running the No. 17 car for the first time this year in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL and Martinsville Speedway, Rick Ware Racing will field two full-time entries next season, the organization announced Nov. 4.
Cody Ware drove the car at the Charlotte ROVAL to seventh place, while JJ Yeley ended 14th at Martinsville last week.
“2021 is shaping up to be a great season for Rick Ware Racing,” Rick Ware said in a release. “This is our 30 Year Anniversary being involved in motorsports, and I can’t think of a better way to showcase how far we’ve come, than to get back to our roots in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.”
2021 sets a milestone for the team: 30 years in motorsports.
Full details, including manufacturers and car numbers, will be revealed at a later date.
RWR also assisted in fielding the No. 07 for SS-Green Light Racing in 2020, with a variety of drivers.
