Justin Allgaier Takes Xfinity Pole at Phoenix

When the NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers race for the championship at Phoenix Raceway, Justin Allgaier will lead the way.

Allgaier won the pole after finishing second last week at Martinsville Speedway.

The three other drivers vying for the title, Chase Briscoe, Austin Cindric and Justin Haley, will lineup second-fourth, respectively. Martinsville winner Harrison Burton rounds out the top five starters.

Noah Gragson begins sixth, Ross Chastain is seventh, Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Brandon Jones and Riley Herbst start eighth and ninth, and Michael Annett completes the top 10.

The lineup was formed from an equation that combined four weighted categories: rank in owner points (35%), driver’s finishing position (25%), team owner’s finishing position (25%) and fastest lap from previous race (15%).

Xfinity Starting Lineup for Phoenix

The Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 200 airs on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
