Next year will mark Jones’ sixth full-time Xfinity season, with his first two coming with Richard Childress Racing.
In 166 starts entering Kansas Speedway this weekend, Jones has four wins, three coming in 2020, plus 18 top fives and 66 top 10s.
He’s sixth in points entering Kansas, in the hunt for his first series championship.
Jones is the first driver to be announced to JGR’s Xfinity roster for 2021. In 2020, the team has also fielded full-time entries for Riley Herbst and Harrison Burton, plus a part-time car for Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin.
