Chase Briscoe Grabs Xfinity Pole at Vegas

Chase Briscoe will lead the way when the NASCAR Xfinity Series begin its playoffs at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Sept. 26.

Briscoe nabbed the pole after winning last week’s race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Team Penske’s Austin Cindric is also on the front row next to Briscoe. JR Motorsports’ Justin Allgaier, who won three races this year, lines up third. Kaulig Racing’s Ross Chastain and the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing driver Harrison Burton round out the top five.

Noah Gragson starts sixth, Brandon Jones begins seventh and Anthony Alfredo is eighth. Riley Herbst and Justin Haley complete the top 10 starters.

The lineup is based on a formula combining rank in owner points (weighted 35%), driver’s finishing position (25%), owner’s end position (25%) and fastest lap from previous race (15%).

Xfinity Starting Lineup for Las Vegas

The Alsco 300 airs on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network and PRN radio.
