Kris Wright has joined GMS Racing for two races, the team announced today, Aug. 3.
Wright will pilot the No. 21 GMS Racing car in the ARCA Menards Series at Michigan International Speedway this weekend. He will also drive the No. 24 for GMS in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race at the Daytona International Speedway road course.
Both starts will be Wright’s debut in either series.
This season, Wright has two starts in the ARCA Menards Series West, finishing top five in both.
In the 2019 Rolex 24 at Daytona’s road course, Wright finished seventh overall.
