Michael Annett Named Texas Xfinity Pole Winner

Michael Annett has been named the polesitter for the My Bariatric Solutions 300 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Texas Motor Speedway.

Driving the No. 1 JR Motorsports Chevrolet, Annett is seeking his first win of this season. He has two top fives and seven top 10s this season, with the best finish of fifth at both Pocono Raceway and the first race at Kentucky Speedway.

Annett’s teammate Jeb Burton will start shotgun on the front row. Fellow JR Motorsports driver Justin Allgaier will start fourth and Noah Gragson will start ninth.

Austin Cindric, who swept the doubleheader at Kentucky, will start third.

Rounding out the starting top five is rookie Riley Herbst.

Kyle Busch will reprise his role driving the No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota. He will start 28th.

The My Bariatric Solutions 300 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 18 at 3 p.m. ET, preceding the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race at Texas. NBC Sports Network will provide TV coverage.
