Bubba Wallace Adds Cash App Sponsorship

Mobile payment provider Cash App has signed on to sponsor NASCAR Cup Series driver Bubba Wallace and the Richard Petty Motorsports team, the team announced July 14.

The all-green No. 43 car will run in five 2020 races and the sponsorship will extend through multiple seasons, as well as being an associate sponsor for the rest of the current season.

“This announcement is really exciting news for our team,” Wallace said in a release. “It is always nice to see new brands come to the sport and make a commitment like Cash App has with this news. We are excited to have Cash App onboard the No. 43 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE and I look forward to introducing NASCAR fans to the easiest way to send, spend, save, and invest their money.”

The five primary sponsorship races will be at Texas Motor Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Darlington Raceway, Bristol Motor Speedway and Kansas Speedway.

Wallace’s first race in the car will be this weekend at Texas Motor, with the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 slated to start just after 3 p.m. ET.
