Chase Elliott Snags Atlanta Cup Pole

Chase Elliott will lead the NASCAR Cup Series field to the green flag when the series visits Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Elliott was named the polesitter after a randomized draw based on owners’ points set the starting lineup for the 2020 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500.

Aric Almirola, Joey Logano, Kyle Busch and Clint Bowyer round out the starting top five drivers. Brad Keselowski, the most recent series winner, will start sixth.

Timmy Hill, who will be the only driver to compete in all three races at Atlanta, will start 38th.

Forty drivers were entered for the race, meaning none failed to qualify.
