Though he’s moved into the NASCAR Cup Series full time in 2020 as a rookie, Brennan Poole will still race at least once for his old team, On Point Motorsports, this year.
Poole will drive the team’s No. 30 in the Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series opener at Daytona International Speedway this Friday, the team announced Monday, Feb. 10.
Spartan Mosquito will sponsor Poole’s effort.
“I’m really excited to be back again with the On Point guys and build off of the momentum we had last year,” Poole said in a team release. “We’re going to contend for wins again in 2020, and I can’t wait to display the Spartan Mosquito colors and represent them at Daytona in the Truck Series.”
Future races for Poole and the team have not been specified. The pair partnered for a part-time schedule in 2019, while Danny Bohn also piloted the No. 30 in select races at the end of the season.
Poole is racing full time in the Cup Series for Premium Motorsports in 2020, driving its No. 15.
