Jeff Green will return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2020, piloting the No. 38 car for RSS Racing at Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway, the team announced Tuesday (Jan. 14).
Green will be sponsored by C2 Freight, which also sponsored him in two superspeedway events in 2019.
Green finished in the top 10 at both Daytona races last season.
“I am excited to get the season going and represent C2 Freight at Daytona and Talladega,” Green said in a release. “Any chance you get to run these races is special especially when you are able to do it with partners like C2 Freight.”
Clifford Turner will be his crew chief for these races.
Green’s return comes after he was sidelined for much of the second half of 2019 due to surgery.
It’s currently unknown if Green will drive any more races for the team in 2020.
RSS Racing already announced the return of Ryan Sieg to the team’s primary No. 39 in 2020, along with a part-time schedule for CJ McLaughlin.
