Our Motorsports will attempt to run the full schedule in the NASCAR Xfinity Series during the 2020 season, the team announced Wednesday, Oct. 30, fielding the No. 02.
The organization has previously competed in the Whelen Modified Tour and ARCA Menards Series.
“We’re excited to be expanding to compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2020,” team owner Chris Our said in a press release. “NASCAR’s marketing platform offers an opportunity like no other for both our existing partners and potential new partners.”
The team will be managed by Andy Seuss, who has competed in the Whelen Modified Tour since 2006, won the Whelen Southern Modified Tour championship in 2014-15 and has 12 ARCA Menards Series starts since 2015.
“Chris Our has been a huge influence and supporter of helping to continue the dream of competing at the highest level in NASCAR,” Seuss said. “He is a great guy whose passion for motorsports has helped countless drivers over the years live their dreams to compete for wins every weekend.”
Seuss will also drive the No. 02 Chevrolet Camaro in some races, though the team will likely use multiple drivers throughout the season. A more extensive driver lineup is expected in January.
Our Motorsports will run a partial 2020 schedule in the ARCA Menards Series as well.
The 2020 NXS season begins with the NASCAR Racing Experience 300 at Daytona International Speedway in February.
