Jeb Burton Back With Niece Motorsports at Martinsville

Jeb Burton will return to Niece Motorsports’ NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series team for next weekend’s NASCAR Hall of Fame 200 at Martinsville Speedway, the team revealed in a statement Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Burton has made one start for the team this season at Kentucky Speedway, finishing ninth in the No. 44 entry.

State Water Heaters also returns to sponsor Burton.

“I’m excited to get back behind the wheel of one of these Niece Motorsports Chevrolets again,” Burton said in a press statement. “Martinsville is certainly a very special track to me, and a place that I have a lot of experience, so I’m confident that we can turn that into a strong result.”

Burton has seven career starts at the short track in the Truck Series, scoring one pole and a best finish — twice — of third, all coming in 2013.

The No. 44 has been driven by a variety of competitors in 2019, most recently Angela Ruch at Talladega Superspeedway.

The Hall of Fame 200 at Martinsville will get underway at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26.
