The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series heads south to Charlotte Motor Speedway to race at the ROVAL, the third and final race of the first round of the 2019 playoffs.
40 cars are entered for Sunday’s race, meaning all will make the race and the event will have a full field of cars, barring any entry list changes.
Rick Ware Racing has three cars entered for the race. Cody Ware will be behind the wheel of the No. 51 for the first time since Michigan International Speedway, while Garrett Smithley returns to the No. 52 after not running last week at Richmond Raceway. The team’s No. 53 does not have a driver named yet.
Joe Nemechek‘s third Cup Series start of 2019 will come at the road course in Premium Motorsports’ No. 27, having finished 31st and 34th at Darlington Raceway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway, respectively.
Spire Motorsports’ No. 77 will be piloted by Reed Sorenson in his 19th start of the year. He finished 37th at Richmond last week.
Timmy Hill makes his fourth start of 2019 for MBM Motorsports, driving the No. 66. Charlotte will be his first race since Kansas Speedway in May.
