Cole Custer and Noah Gragson led the two practice sessions for the Xfinity Series at Darlington Raceway on Friday afternoon (Aug. 30).
In the first practice, Custer led the field with a speed of 167.307 mph. Denny Hamlin was second but will have to go to a backup car after he brushed the wall in the session.

Justin Allgaier was third, followed by Gragson and their boss, Dale Earnhardt Jr., who is driving his only race of the season this weekend in Darlington.
Tyler Reddick was sixth with Christopher Bell eighth in the first session.
DARLINGTON XFINITY FIRST PRACTICE RESULTS
In the second session, it was Gragson with the fastest mark with a lap of 166.276 mph. His JR Motorsports teammate, Allgaier, was second, followed by Bell, Custer and Chase Briscoe rounding out the top five.

The Xfinity Series will qualify tomorrow at 12:35 p.m. ET, with the green flag waving at 4:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
