Rookie Front Row Motorsports driver Matt Tifft welcomes a new sponsor aboard the No. 36 Ford for Saturday night’s race.
Ron Jon Surf Shop, which is celebrating the company’s 60th anniversary, will be featured on the car at Daytona International Speedway for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 July 6.
“It’s so great to have Ron Jon Surf Shop on the car at Daytona,” Tifft said in a team release. “If you grew up going to beaches on the east coast, they’re a brand you instantly recognize. To have them with us, celebrating their 60th anniversary is a huge honor and I can’t wait to turn heads on track with this car.”
Tifft had a total of nine top fives, 38 top 10s, and two poles in the Xfinity Series prior to his rookie season in Cup. However, he is still searching for his top 10 in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, but does have a pair of 20th-place finishes.
