The driver of the No. 88 Ford posted a fast lap at 177.288 mph. Harrison Burton will start third, followed by Brett Moffitt. Todd Gilliland will start fifth.
Ross Chastain will start sixth, followed by Austin Hill. Rookie Gus Dean qualified eighth, just ahead of Sheldon Creed. Stewart Friesen posted the same speed as Riley Herbst but takes the 10th-place starting position.
Dover winner Johnny Sauter will start 12th.
Bayley Currey, who was a late addition to the entry list this weekend, did not make a lap during qualifying and will start 30th.
Something is wrong under the hood for @BayleyCurrey, truck sounded very flat @kansasspeedway, he will not complete his laps in #DigitalAlly250 qualifying

Additionally, Jennifer Jo Cobb, who considers Kansas her home track, spun and backed hard into the outside wall, causing significant damage to the No. 10 Chevrolet. The team immediately began working on the truck in hopes of getting it repaired for the race.
