After making a public plea for sponsorship for this weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Dover International Speedway, Gray Gaulding has secured sponsorship for the Allied Steel Buildings 200.
NBC Sports reports that World Wide Safety Consulting will be the primary sponsor of the No. 08 Chevrolet Camaro for the SS-Green Light Racing driver. The company has previously been an associate sponsor for the organization.
Additional sponsorship comes from trading card company Panini and pet shampoo Mane ‘n Tail in an associate role.
Gaulding’s career-best finish of second at Talladega Superspeedway last weekend means he will be part of the Dash 4 Cash at Dover alongside Christopher Bell, Chase Briscoe and Tyler Reddick, running for a $100,000 bonus.
Gaulding has been a presence on the national NASCAR scene since 2014, racking up 50 starts in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, 17 starts in the Xfinity Series and 17 starts in the Gander Outdoors Truck Series.
He is currently 14th in the Xfinity standings with 190 points, 60 points behind the last driver currently in the playoff field, Brandon Jones.
The Allied Steel Buildings 200 will be Saturday, May 4, at 1:30 p.m. ET, with TV coverage on Fox Sports 1.
