Ross Chastain and Ryan Sieg led the way in Friday’s (April 26) practice sessions for the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Talladega Superspeedway.
Chastain paced the field in pack practice, while Sieg turned the fastest lap in the single-car session.
Both sessions ended cleanly with zero incidents taking place on the track.
Chastain, who is racing for Kaulig Racing this weekend, turned 11 laps during the opening session, with his fifth lap being the fastest at 193.770 mph.
Noah Gragson finished the session in second, .232 seconds off of the leader. Chase Briscoe, Justin Haley and Justin Allgaier rounded out the top five.

A total of 13 cars turned a lap during the second practice session, with Sieg topping the speed charts. Chastain’s car was fast enough to finish second in that session, with John Hunter Nemechek, Josh Williams and Timmy Hill rounding out the top-five speeds.

Qualifying for the MoneyLion 300 is tomorrow (April 27) on FOX Sports 1 at 10:10 a.m. ET, while the race itself goes live on FOX Sports 1 at 1 p.m. ET.
