The entry list for the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway has been released. 37 cars are competing for 40 spots on the grid for Saturday’s race (April 13). That means all cars will make the field and compete under the lights in the 400-lap event.
There’s just one unchartered entry currently listed. Joey Gase will enter his third race this season in MBM Racing’s No. 66, this time with a paint scheme commemorating Virginia NASCAR artist Sam Bass. Bass passed away earlier this year following an extended kidney illness.
The 36 chartered cars have just one driver change among them. Rookie Cody Ware is back in the No. 51 for Rick Ware Racing, making his seventh start of the season. Bayley Currey, meanwhile remains piloting the team’s the No. 52. Saturday will mark Currey’s fourth MENCS start of the year with RWR.
Quin Houff makes his second straight start and third overall with Spire Motorsports’ No. 77. Houff ran 32nd at Bristol Motor Speedway this past weekend.
