Mother Nature put a damper to on-track action on Friday (Oct. 25) at Martinsville Speedway, as a pair of Camping World Truck Series practices were cancelled due to rain.
Opening practice was scheduled to get underway at noon ET, while final practice was supposed to go green at 2 p.m. ET. Shortly after 2:30 p.m. ET, NASCAR called it quits for the day, announcing all on-track activity was cancelled.
Saturday’s (Oct. 26) schedule is scheduled to remain the same. The Truck Series will qualify at 10 a.m. ET, with the race beginning shortly after 1 p.m. The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will have a pair of practices (9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. ET) with qualifying getting underway following the conclusion of the Truck race.
