Fifth Third Bank Signs Extension with Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Fifth Third Bank has renewed their sponsorship with Roush Fenway Racing and driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr., extending to a multi-year deal in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

“I’m so appreciative to continue racing with them,” Stenhouse said. “It’s great to have partners who believe in this sport.”

For Stenhouse, Fifth Third Bank has spelt success, as both of his Cup Series wins have come with the sponsor on board (Talladega and Daytona). Making 25 appearances on Stenhouse’s No. 17 Ford, five times in 2017, they have scored six top-10 finishes.

Overall, Fifth Third has served as a primary sponsor of the No. 17 RFR entry since 2012.

Matt Jauchius, chief marketing officer for Fifth Third Bank, said they’re banking on more successful runs in the future. Group Regional President Tom Heiks agreed.

“The Roush team has been an outstanding partner for the past six seasons,” Heiks said. “With their help, we’ve become the preferred bank of the motorsports industry.”
