Brad Keselowski Paces XFINITY Watkins Glen Practice

Team Penske owns Watkins Glen International in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, and Brad Keselowski kept that streak going.

Coming into 2017 with the last four poles and three of the last four race wins, Keselowski kicks it off right, leading opening practice on Friday with a time of 1:02.177 seconds (122.200 mph).

He led Kyle Busch by 0.364 seconds while Team Penske teammate Joey Logano was third at a 1:02.592. Paul Menard and Kyle Larson completed the top five.

The 55-minute session was interrupted multiple times due to rain in the area. This limited the clock for the series field, with Brandon Jones turning the most laps at 20.

Justin Allgaier turned 17 laps and was sixth quickest, the highest series regular of the session. Erik Jones, Kevin Harvick, Cole Custer and Ty Dillon complete the top 10.
