JR Motorsports swept practices for the XFINITY Series Friday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, as Elliott Sadler led the first session and teammate Justin Allgaier took the second.
At 166.485 mph (54.059 seconds), Allgaier turned the fastest lap of the afternoon ahead of Matt Tifft, Kyle Busch, Sadler and William Byron.
The final session saw no shortage of pack runs, as the field continues to work out the kinks in the new aero package for this weekend’s Lilly Diabetes 250.
Paul Menard was sixth quick with Ben Kennedy, Brandon Jones, Ty Dillon and Daniel Hemric the top 10.
Tyler Reddick turned the most laps of either session, making 37 laps toward an eventual 17th-place time.
