Overton’s 301 Entry List

This weekend, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series heads to New England and “The Magic Mile” for the Overton’s 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

There are 39 cars on the preliminary entry list, meaning the field will not be at full capacity once again. There aren’t many changes for this week, but there are a few that are worth noting.

Clint Bowyer will have Nature’s Bakery on the No. 14 car one week after his Stewart-Haas Racing teammate Danica Patrick did. The company recently settled on a four-race deal with Stewart-Haas Racing after the team initially the baked-goods company sued for breach of contract.

Daniel Suarez currently does not have a primary sponsor announced for the weekend. Title sponsor Overton’s will be on David Ragan’s No. 38 Ford.

Corey LaJoie will remain in the No. 23 Toyota for BK Racing, with Ryan Sieg returning to the wheel of the No. 83 car. Gray Gaulding will remain in the No. 55 car for Premium Motorsports, with Reed Sorenson driving the No. 15 for Premium.

There is also no driver announced for the No. 51 entry with Rick Ware Racing.

The No. 43 Ford entry for Richard Petty Motorsports will be announced officially later this week. Aric Almirola will likely return to the cockpit after missing some time due to a back injury suffered at Kansas Speedway. Darrell Wallace Jr. and Regan Smith have substituted for Almirola since.

The Overton’s 301 at NHMS will go green at approximately 3:14 p.m. ET from Loudon, New Hampshire this Sunday. Television coverage can be found on NBCSN. Matt Kenseth is the defending winner of the event.
