The 2017 NASCAR XFINITY Series season kicks off Saturday (Feb. 25) at Daytona International Speedway, and so far, 44 cars will attempt to fill the 40-spot field.
That number includes multiple Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series regulars, among them Erik Jones, Austin Dillon, Brad Keselowski, Ty Dillon, Kasey Kahne and Aric Almirola — as well as defending XFINITY champion Daniel Suarez, who has moved up to the Cup Series as a rookie for 2017.
Elliott Sadler, Michael Annett, Justin Allgaier, Brennan Poole and Matt Tifft are just a few of the series regulars looking to make their mark on the 2017 season early in the game.
The race will be contested at 3:30 p.m. ET, with TV coverage on Fox Sports 1. Qualifying will be held that morning and a pair of practices will be run on Friday.
